Amazingly, we are able to build a school in Burma for £2000 and to run it for one year for £950. Whilst this is an amazing opportunity, we still need to find the money to make it happen.
So, in October we’re holding a ‘Classical Music Concert for Burma’ where one of the UK’s finest musicians Ruth Rogers (pictured) will perform alongside Martin Cousin and Katherine Jenkinson (The Aquinas Piano Trio) all of whom are performing for free.
The concert will take place at Bromley Youth Music Trust, main hall on Saturday 11 October at 7.30pm. Music will be a selection of classical music. Tickets are £25 (all of which goes directly to the schools project).
We’re delighted that Gerry Armstrong will introduce the evening on behalf of HOPE 4 the World.
We’re hoping that all of you who are already interested in the schools project will come, and also that you’ll bring friends, work colleagues, family...
It will be an evening of outstanding music, and an opportunity to help build a future for the young people of Burma.
